Starlings roosting and settling down on the overhead telephone cables in Rosetta Road, Spixworth.Almost all of them are facing into the wind and rain. They carry out a small 'murmuration' over the village each evening before dusk probably with about 250 birds. The party then splits in two with one half roosting at one end of Rosetta Road and other half at the other end. This roost has been active in Spixworth for the past 30 years and clearly do not understand social distancing.
What a beautiful nightly wonder, Sue.
