Britain's largest dragonfly the Emperor in the act of egg laying. They deposit their eggs one at a time into rotting vegetable matter found in ponds, lakes and rivers. These images shows them flying, egg laying sharing the same piece of dead reed and on one image an Emperor facing out a egg laying from the same piece of reed.
