Forget Christmas - Easter Eggs are here!

Easter Eggs already available in my local Co-op. If you look carefully, you can see some half priced mince pies struggling for attention on the middle shelf

It's Epiphany today, but no sign of gold, frankincense or myrrh on these Co-op shelves - whether half-price or 'only' £1 or £2! Or are those Galaxy 'Golden eggs' one shelf down for £1 a packet intended as a cross-over between the two seasons (ignoring Lent, of course)?

Hello Peter and Janice. Yes, you do wonder how fresh the chocolate is by Easter Janice, I wonder when the eggs actually get made?

I must too take down the Christmas decorations, I was supposed to do it yesterday, but taking photos and looking on here is much more fun. Now off to do some more, no wait a minute, Victor is on the table, and its nearly 3pm......!

Best wishes to all. Julie

Which reminds me, "Must take the Christmas decorations down today" unless you leave them up all year as some do and perhaps happens with Easter Eggs? I think you can pretty much get Creme Eggs all year or if not buy a bulk supply at silly prices as you wont be able to get out the door once you have eaten them all!!

Asda were seen to be selling a five pack for 75p a couple of years ago and now cheap at £1-75 in Iceland must be to do with Eggsit!!

I wonder how old the Easter Egss and the chocolate are before Easter actually gets here...... !!!

And as for getting Mince Pies out already, well even if they are half price that's pushing it!

I've just opened a big box of McVities Victoria biscuit selection, it said inside to keep in an airtight tin once opened, but I don't think they'll be around for long, especially when my son gets in from work! and we don't want the wood burner melting them do we Julie?

Kind Regards,
